Junior Technical Support Executive

Bluesky Interactive is one of the UK’s leading Digital Marketing Solutions Providers to an ever growing client base of franchise car dealers.  Due to continued growth we are looking to recruit a Junior IT Technical Support Executive to join our team based near Warwick.

The role will involve supporting the Technical Support Team, dealing with data feeds, domains, emails, network support and maintenance, server backups and our software library - all of which, full training and the opportunity to gain further related qualifications will be provided.

The ideal candidate will be educated to A Level or equivalent in an IT related subject, have good technical skills with drive and passion to develop a career in IT.  Knowledge of DNS and IIS, T-SQL and Visual Basic is desirable although not essential.

Data feeds

  • Request new feeds from third parties
  • Data queries – check missing cars, images, data etc.
  • Daily checks – Scheduled Tasks, stock reports, SyncBack
  • Weekly checks – remove old feed’s, dealer id’s etc.
  • Setting up new feeds


  • Secure/purchase/transferring domains
  • Configure DNS / MX records / Nameservers in control panel
  • Configure in IIS on server
  • Setting up ftp accounts


  • Internal - Control Panel / Liaise with Exchange server provider
  • External - Telephone / Email support for clients / liaise with provider where necessary

Network support/maintenance

  • New PCs
    • Spec. up suitable pc and obtain quote from dell account manager
    • Setup pc – network access, emails, software etc.
  • User desktop support (Hardware and software)
  • Broadband – liaise with supplier   

Software library

  • Microsoft Action Pack
  • Antivirus
  • Other licenses
