We are looking for a Front end developer to help build full website experiences for our new and existing client base.

Applicants should have good commercial experience writing custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Expertise in writing semantic, modular front end code using HTML5, CSS3, and W3C coding practices a must. Understanding of the concepts of page speed optimisation, progressive enhancement, mobile first (RWD) and future friendly design highly encouraged. 

You will be working with around 20 others in a long established front end team, as well as with projects and client services departments to help deliver and manage client expectations and timelines.

The key responsibilities;

  • Building automotive client websites from a boilerplate, creating components, styling with a custom built UI kit and integrating CMS functionality.
  • Writing custom front end code in a microsoft environment
  • Browser testing, debugging and performance optimization of assets through CDNs.
  • Great attention to detail and solid grasp of the aesthetics of good web design
  • Implementation of SEO / SEM best practices
  • Communication with technical and non-technical people.
  • Managing your time and working in an agile environment to fulfill sprint goals.

  • Automotive experience/appreciation would be an advantage but not essential

This role is available in our Sheffield and Warwick offices.

Hours are 9-5:30 Monday-Friday and we believe in a good work life balance. Overtime is often available but always optional.
