Monday morning, again. It is scientifically proven that 38.4% of people in the UK alone don’t like Mondays. I am one of them. Just a normal teenage girl, in a workplace, what could go wrong?
Who am I?
Well that’s easy, I’m Hannah, I’m 15 and I’m here at Bluesky Interactive on work experience. I’m normal; there is nothing that special about me, I’m just me. I go to Campion School in Leamington, Warwickshire. I am in year 10 and I study English, maths, science, geography, Spanish, graphics and art. My interests include football, drawing, reading and listening to music.
Why am I here at Bluesky?
I am here at Bluesky for work experience; this means that I come into a workplace for a week to help evolve my knowledge of the working world around me. This environment is calming and peaceful. I like it here as this is a hard working company.
What would I like to achieve from my time at Bluesky?
I want to gain experience and knowledge of a workplace and of how busy it can get. I also want to learn about the options I have for the future in areas like digital marketing. This means that I could get a bigger insight on the working world on the working hours (9am until 5:30pm) which are exhausting; organisation and so I can learn new skills.
The favourite thing I have done this week is help with E-Marketing, this is when they research and upload data on companies Bluesky are associated with on social media such as Facebook and Twitter.
What are my goals in life?
I would like to go to university and get my degree in graphic design, I want to do graphic design for magazines as they are very creative and graphic designers are always making something different. I would like to work in a small company like Bluesky as it would give me space and time to work my way up the company. I would like to do this as it would mean I can have more experience and knowledge in the area and environment of graphic design and digital marketing companies.
